  • The Eucharist… is such a special gift! We have the opportunity to receive the Eucharist each time we come to Mass. In order to help us appreciate this great gift even more, the church sets aside one Sunday a year to celebrate “The Body and Blood of Christ.” As we observe this feast today, may we reaffirm our faith in the presence of Christ in this sacrament, and be the Lord’s presence to others.
  • Our Ladies of Charity… are at the doors of our church after all Masses this weekend collecting monetary donations for the St. Winifred food bank. Your donations will be put to good use.
  • Congratulations… to all of our high school graduates! We recognize you in a special way at our 11:00 Mass this weekend. We thank God for you, we are proud of your achievements, and pray that you may stay close to God in the future.
  • Anointing of the Sick… This Wednesday, June 6 we will celebrate the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick during our daily 9:00 morning Mass. This Sacrament asks God’s blessing and protection on those who are seriously or chronically ill, or who need God’s special graces due to the challenges of old age, or who may be entering the hospital. Anyone in need of this Sacrament is welcome to attend! No pre-registration is necessary. A light breakfast sponsored by our parish Ladies of Charity will be served in Capistran Hall following the Mass.
  • After-Mass Socials… It’s been awhile since we’ve had weekend after-Mass socials. So, mark your calendars for next weekend, June 9/10, when a social will be held in Capistran hall following all Masses! If you can, plan to stop by for some food and fellowship. Come one, come all!
